Cross Country

WALT run 1.5km for Cross Country.

I learned to stay the same pace in the race.

I achieved my goal because I ran 1.5km in the Cross Country.

Next time I will sprint then run then jog to the finish.

WALT:identify healthy food choices

I have learnt food from the ground is awesome.

I have learnt you should have  some food from animals.

I have learnt  that you should have a little food from ingredients

first 4 weeks of school 2017

The first 4 weeks of school were fantastic.

One of my favourite activity's was fitness because we played a game called Japanese dodge-ball.

Cultural week was one of my favourite weeks we learnt about two countries and also used chopstick to pick up lollies.

I have enjoyed the first four weeks of school and i am ready  for the next.

WHAT?
For PE/Sport my goals were to use:
Positive relationships with individuals or groups.
And teamwork


SO WHAT?

I showed I had Relationships with individuals and groups because I passed in basketball and we worked together to achieve things.

NOW WHAT?

I will work more as a team and less as a individual and I will do this by passing more in basketball and other team sports.

C.A.R.E Values  Blog, Week 8-9, term 3

WHAT?
My goal is to develop the consistent use of our CARE Values towards all the people I interact with and for myself .

SO WHAT?
  • My strengths are in being a respectful person because I respect the staff in the school.
  • I have achieved my bronze certificate and am working towards earning my silver certificate.

NOW WHAT?

I am going to work towards my silver certificate I am going to do this by Using manners consistantly

Art Attack Week 5 Term 3

WHAT?


For art attack my goal was to produce a piece of art related to our local landscape using either paint, water colour or pastel.


With Mrs Marsh I learned about foreground, midground and background in landscapes.
With Mr Forman I learned about colour and complementary colours.
With Mr Rule I looked at the different landscape features of Canterbury and Banks Peninsula.

SO WHAT?

With Mr Forman I learned about two techniques for water colour  wet on dry and wet on wet.



NOW WHAT?

I would like to try pastel if I did another landscape because I think pastel would look really good on a landscape piece of art.

I have been identifying my literacy goals for the start of term 3
My reading teacher is Mr Rule
My writing teacher is Mrs Marsh

So What?

My handwriting goal is to start sloping.

My spelling goal is to complete list 7 and 8

Mrs Marsh - Identify the structure and features of a moment in time/descriptive writing.
- to plan our moment in time using our senses.



Reading Mr Rule WALT use several pieces of information to make inferences (on information not directly in the text).

Dance term 2


What?
IHBL: a hip routine
         a cha cha routine
         to combine different movements in to a dance routine to Treasure by Bruno Mars
         to combine different cha cha moves into a dance routine to perform
         
So What?

        I really enjoyed .... the hip hop because of all those different moves that we did

        
         

Now what?

        I now feel a lot more confident with dancing because I danced to two songs in front of a lot of people on that Friday.
        
        




Writing Term 2 Week 3

What is my learning goal? my learning goal is too understand and organise text into paragraphs.

What have I learned? I have learned too make a paragraph of Four to Seven words

My next step is too link and too use cursive in my writing.



Reading term 2 week 2

What is my learning goal? My learning goal is to understand and organise or order text

What have I learned?  I have learned to make paragraphs from four to seven sentences.  A paragraph begins  with a topic sentence.  The rest of the paragraph gives you detail about the topic. At the end of a paragraph there is a concluding sentence that concluding sentence gives you someones opinion. A example of a concluding sentence is I like that tree  hope they don't chop it down.

What is my next step? my next step is too link and too write cursive.
